We kayaked, paddle boarded, went on the Bio Bay tour to learn about the local bioluminescent plankton, made friends and ate from morning ’til night. But our favorite thing to do was to have no plans and play in the ocean or lounge by the pool.
I hope I haven’t burned you out on Vieques. I have so many pictures to share and they make an easy subject to post about. Thanks for following the journey!
If you missed the first two posts on Vieques, here are the links:
P.S. In case you were impressed by my “light” choices in meals, the pics below are proof of what I was eating most of the time.

Love the pics! Especially the great picture of Jon. So cute! I’m in an all-day conference call, so this is a most welcome palate cleanser. 🙂 Thank you for helping to keep me sane today. 🙂
Pooh, thanks for crediting me with your sanity today! An all-day conference call?! I would need a rewind button because my attention span is not that long! xo
Oh please keep the pictures coming… we love them. And so happy you showed the “Real Food” too!
You make me feel better, Nancy! Puerto Rican food is delicious and filling, but after a while, we craved something light. xo

Not tired at all – keep the lovely pictures coming! I need some sun, even if it’s just virtual.
I’m wondering: what made you choose that spot? I had never heard of it. Looks amazing!
Janea, Great question! Jon found it when he was searching for SPG Hotels. The sunny pictures do give a vicarious sunshine effect, don’t they? xo
It’s been like you took me with you. Thanks for sharing your trip. Really cool pic of Jon! Nice shades too! 😎
I’m so glad you feel that way! Jon’s my photo muse. I love taking pics of him. I bet you have pretty pics from your recent Hawaii trip, I look forward to seeing them. xo
Best pic of Jon EVER!!!! Tell him to make it his Facebook profile picture even if it doesn’t highlight his usual wonderfully crazy hair style! Thanks for sharing…..I want to go!
Di, you need to go to Vieques, you would love it!
